QUARRY WEST-WALES. Tranquillity of an abandoned ancient quarry in West-Wales. Climbing through the fence and finding this, forbidden, secluded spot felt like walking into a cathedral and reminded me of a poem by Dylan Thomas; Being but Men. "We walked into the trees afraid, letting our syllables be soft for fear of waking the rooks". Size 90x60x4cm. £2000
